This 2-day modular training course delivers a full lifecycle overview of street works jobs, ensuring participants gain practical knowledge and experience. Successful completion of the course will result in City and Guilds certification, which is a recognised benchmark of excellence in training and learning.

The Subject

The course focuses on street works legislation and its administration, providing a comprehensive understanding of the codes of practice for the coordination of street and road works, and inspections, alongside other supporting legislation. Delivered in person by approved trainers with relevant industry experience, the course consists of:


  • Trainer-led presentations

  • Open-book assessments using supplied texts

  • A 30-question online test requiring an 80% pass mark


The sessions are tailored to the group’s specific roles to ensure the greatest benefit and practical application of legislative requirements. Upon successful completion, participants will be registered on the City and Guilds website and receive a certificate of accreditation.

Our Aim
